Minnesota is on the cusp as well and I'm remaining optimistic, but more realistic signs suggest the bill may not pass this session. With Utah and Colorado already having laid the groundwork and other countries adopting the practice, other US states might hopefully just make small adjustments, if any, to suit local laws. From a safety standpoint, the low wattage and self-terminating inverters (when home grid-based power is down) should make this a relative no-brainer, even as there likely will be push-back from power companies and coops.
