Hey everyone,

I’m a 38-year-old male currently looking to connect with a single woman who is either already established on her own land, or actively looking to acquire acreage and build a self-sufficient lifestyle from the ground up. My long-term goal is to establish a 25-to-45-acre homestead (currently eyeing areas in Colorado or Arkansas) focused on permaculture design, sustainability, and small-scale artisanal food production.

What I Bring to the Table:

The Kitchen & Production: I am a professional chef with nearly two decades of experience in the food and hospitality industry. My vision for a homestead isn't just growing food to survive, but processing it into high-quality, artisanal products—specifically small-batch hot sauces, salsas, fermented goods, and maple syrup.

Technical & Building Focus: I have a background in IT and tech, which means I love researching and setting up efficient systems, from solar arrays and Starlink connectivity to building a portable cabin shell/tiny home setup. I enjoy the physical, daily problem-solving that comes with property maintenance.

The Vibe: I value a quiet, grounded life away from the city noise. I enjoy hockey, a good round of golf, sci-fi writing, and working with my hands. I’m a direct communicator, protective of my peace, and believe a good partnership is built on mutual respect and holding your own weight.

What I’m Looking For:
I am looking for an independent, capable woman who understands that homesteading isn't just a romantic aesthetic—it’s dirty, exhausting, beautiful daily labor.

Whether you already have a piece of land and need a partner with the culinary and technical skills to help elevate it, or you’re looking to team up and hunt for land together, I’d love to talk. Ideally, you are someone who:

Enjoys working with the soil, animal husbandry, or market gardening.

Values self-reliance, emotional maturity, and clear, drama-free communication.

Wants to build a peaceful, intentional life where we support each other's individual projects while working toward a massive shared goal.

If any of this resonates with your vision, feel free to send me a PM. Let’s swap ideas, talk about what we’re building, and see if our paths align.

I am currently in SoCal, but looking to relocate soon or ASAP.

Shoot me an email at danallencox@gmail.com if you want to chat or have questions!
