Maine Homestead for sale

This large family homestead is ready for a new family.  We have loved our time here but have purchased property elsewhere that has room for our adult children to build homes.  Located in Parkman, Maine, this is a 2528 square foot house built in 2007 on 13 acres.  Down stairs it has an open layout with mudroom, full bathroom, playhouse, wood room and pantry in addition to a living, kitchen and dining area. Upstairs you’ll find a laundry room, hall closet/clothing storage area, storage room, two full bathrooms, and four bedrooms bedrooms.  One of the bedrooms has a passageway into the bathroom.  There is also an area that can be used for an apartment.  It has a 12 x 16 room that is plumbed for a kitchen and has a small pantry.  It adjoins a bedroom with it’s own full bath both included in the earlier count.  
The house has a private well and septic.  Heat is provided by a Kitchen Queen wood stove that is plumbed to preheat the water that is fed into the heat pump hot water heater in the basement.  The basement has a slab portion and a gravel/ledge portion. There is a gravity drain to daylight.  
The house is undergoing a partial remodel.  You can imagine the walls needing patching after raising multiple boys. We are also in the process of siding over the original T1-11.  
We cannot owner-finance due to borrowing against the house to get our next house going.
The house is located at the end of a dead end dirt road.  It is community maintained but town owned. It is across the seat from a working farm, which may not be for everyone.
