Atlanta metro homestead wanna bees

Are you an Atlanta metro area homesteader-to-be? That's me! But until the door opens to get out.... I have a lot to share. I'm the well-taught daughter of a Mennonite carpenter homebuilder market garden farmer. If that doesn't summarize my skill set well enough, well then, please check out my website (see my signature.) I don't only want to help my own family "get out," I want to help others too. I thank God and my husband for enabling me to continually add to my skill set. Otherwise, by now I might be in an insane asylum for not having a huge field to plant.  Where the world requires it, I got the license (for finding homestead-friendly real estate. Not on typical realtor skill set terms.)  But, this is an invitation. Homestead Skills in my yard, for those who are interested, in the Southwest Atlanta area (think Fairburn/Union City/South Fulton somewhere in there). Developments are booming around here. So are Amazon and data centers. Help me stay sane by coming out for the gathering every 2nd and 4th Sunday 4:30-6:00 p.m. We'll start this Sunday discussing seed saving! I'll have homemade spelt bread, granola, and soap, my boys will probably have heirloom seeds and birdhouses to sell if you want to support us, but otherwise the "class" is free. I would love for those who have done homesteading classes to drop their comments and suggestions and advice in the replies. What can I add? What is the most valuable thing to teach beginners?
