Chef Seth arrived today (yay!) and we'll be spending almost a month focused on the permaculture kitchen.

We are cordially inviting folks to the following (subject to change*):

9/12, Friday, 6:30 to 9:00 - potluck & permaculture kitchen discussion
9/13, Saturday, 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. - community pig butchery, $20/person, limit of 5
9/16, Tuesday, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. - fermentation, free
9/29, Monday, 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. - permaculture (or pork?) cookery techniques, free

Please RSVP (let me know if you'll be here) via an e-mail to jocelyn AT richsoil DOT com.

The two pigs for our butchery day come from a wonderful local family farm, Ginger Roots Farm. The owners Micah and Katie took an online PDC and built their skiddable 'pig condo' based on Paul's designs!

*We're in the middle of installing the earthen berms on the wofatis, as well as preparing for the arrival of Ernie and Erica, our RMH innovators, and RMH workshop participants, (including Willie Smits!!), so adding in these cooking events is very casual (help/contributions welcome!) and subject to change.
