i have some thoughts on swales i am not a agricultural engineer, what i say is to be contradicted when it is totally worng it is to start thought on them.
 
  Doherty says that the inner folds of mountains that he calls valeys get wetter in a rain event that the outer ones, i got o photo of this i will put it up later when i can find it, i dont control where the fotos from my new camera get to half the time.

i ended up puttign the information i was goitng to put here in homsteadign in, utah has changed the law on water harvesting. HTere were variouse threads open on this theme already thats why i changed my mind. i should have put it in the one on rainwater harvesting never mind. rose
