Hey Ray don't feel bad I bought 5 acres in Mountain View Missouri I have a license to grow herb for the state of Missouri so dollars and I'm putting up other greenhouses and raised bed gardens I have a barn I'm chicken coop going to raise rabbits aquaponics I'm doing a whole bunch I'm also putting the Earthship here and I'm older than you so it's not impossible to start old as far as finding a person I would say ask God and if he wants you to be with somebody he'll put you with somebody.
But don't give up I mean we really have to do this this is not a lifestyle choice
