My wife Martha and I are interested in coming up to visit you homestead, if that is an option.  We currently live in Hot Springs AR, we really desire to live in community with like minded people that love Jesus and want to live healthy.  Are you still seeking families to live off-grid on your land? My name is Matthew. I'm single and 41 years of age. I love being outdoors and away from the city. The idea of off grid living came to me when I was 35. I was successfully living in Oregon for 3years and maintained a job and had gotten a dog for companionship. I never found or discovered people of like mind to accompany me. I also wasn't in an ideal location for farming as water was too far away. Everything that kept me there was more or less brought in every few months. I'm very hardworking and 8 know I have the ability to help with daily tasks and put in the time with a group of people or alone when needed. I am great at gardening, I have carpentry experience. I have been given this vision and so excited to see this invite.  I'd love to learn more but also interested in areas near the western Rockies, sw Idaho, Montana.  I'd love to put my skills to use and build refuge for the times to come and be light to the hurting world.  Currently doing so on my tini urban homestead but desperately need out of the city.  Whatever the Father directs, I will obey.  

We have 5 kids at home, homeschool and come with a variety of useful skills.

Is this community on going.  I’ve been looking exactly for this.  What do I need to do to move forward. I’m closing on escrow and going to head out with God as our guide to find others aware of the days and willing to stand for their faith.

This post is old and I don't know if they are still active, but if you are open to something similar in the Texas Panhandle, then check us out at FYREshire.org and see what we are working on. We just launched our website less than a week ago (July 4th!) and are interested in building something with likeminded folks. We have not acquired land yet, but are working to build some community first and figure out who is interested in working side-by-side to build the community that we want to live in.

Id be interested in the details when you get time.
