I am Dave Kennedy. My new book, Eat Your Greens:The Surprising Power of Home-Grown Leaf Crops, has just been released by New Society Publishers. I am the founder and director of Leaf for Life, a small non-profit based in Interlachen, Florida. Since 1986 Leaf for Life has worked in Bolivia, Brazil, India, Ecuador, El Salvador, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua, Swaziland,and the United States to combat malnutrition with green leaves. We use the principles of applied ecology to show people how to make the most of green leafy vegetables.We focus on home garden scale solutions to common nutritional problems among women and children.
