I thought I should put this out there, it is really simplified of course, but still bears stating clearly. In my system of dairy farming, there are three keys that my system rests upon. They are:

1) 100% Pasture feeding. Zero grain ever. As little hay as possible.

2) Seasonal breeding, calving, and milking.

3) Once a day milking.

I know this all seems quite radical, but this is the fundamental basis of the system I have worked out running Bella Farm.
