We live in Northeastern Minnesota. Off grid. We have
dairy goats, dogs, cats and
chickens. In the summer we like to go camping and in the winter we like to leave for a month at a time. We would need someone to help with the farm. Housing would be available. Work on a lake would more than likely be available for waitressing, cooking or resort work. Person applying
should know that smoking is not permitted, nor alcohol, nor drugs. We have about an acre in garden. Working on the farm allows lots of food and a place to stay. Prefer younger woman that is interested in
gardening and cooking and learning the farm chores. Sorry but we have tried men, and so far it hasn't worked so well. They don't like to cook, don;t like to
milk goats, and don't like to garden. HOWEVER if you are a male and like to do those things than contact us. But would prefer someone who is into
sustainable permaculture. It can get very cold here, so be prepared for that. Summers are beautiful, but there are bugs. The lake we live by has 365 islands and the Bwca and Quetico to the north. Nothing but wilderness. Prepare to eat well and talk of every imaginable topic. We would work our schedules around yours so you could leave the farm also.
