With a steamy pile of compost LOVE!

My friend Brian is on the third turning of his 18 Day Berkeley compost pile. Looks like a little volcano, doesn't it?

That's three more turnings than I do.

Bleeding heart flowers seem a good choice.

Yeah - I rarely, if ever, turn compost piles - but Brian wanted a whole lot of compost FAST because we have a whole sunken swimming pool to make into a garden before it gets too blasted hot! It was already 82F here today. We are having fun with this pile and we composted a lot of stuff that would have ordinarily gone into the trash or recycle bins.

The harder you work, the luckier you get. This tiny ad brings luck - just not good luck or bad luck.
