We did a bit of terracing on an otherwise unusable due south facing slope. I wanted to build this as way to increase the size of the garden and provide a great place to grow primarily fruit trees. This is the first area that is snow free in the spring due to its orientation to the sun and the amount of stone on the walls and ground. Hope this inspires some people to try to do the same! Enjoy!
