I had totally forgot this thread on homegrown vs store-bought eggs until it cycled back up today. That reminded me I meant to show you the side-by-side comparison of our American Buff goose vs our chicken eggs.
Weight comparison: our chicken eggs average 60 grams, the goose eggs about 150.

The size difference is pretty big. The goose eggs have a much tougher shell and are substatially larger, but to me they taste the same, both are way better than store bought eggs.
