I'm working on a
project to put together a network of
sustainable wildcrafters
online. My goals:
1) spread awareness of sustainable and regenerative methods of gathering wild herbs, foods, and seeds
2) enable wildcrafters to
sell their bounty directly to individuals, or trade with each other
3) help spread sustainable and regenerative wildcrafting methods
4) in the long term, organize against anti-foraging initiatives
I've just started getting a website together. If you're interested in helping me establish this network, I'd love to hear from you either in
thread or privately. I'm looking for folks who do some wildcrafting (
medicinal herbs, plant parts for food, natural dyes, fungi, seeds for restoration, whatever), are pretty computer literate (but you don't have to code or script; heck, I don't), and are serious about being willing to help run a community once we get started. To start with I'd love to know what you'd need from the website for it to work for you.
