Comfrey flower color variability?

So I started true comfrey from seed last year, from Tradewinds.
the plants barely grew up enough last year to even identify them, in all honesty I thought one of them was a weed.
Now I have 2 large plants flowering and one has very light pink flowers and the other a deep purple.
Anyone else observe this?

I planted seed from Richter's and all have purple flowers except for one plant and it is white....it is also in a less sunny spot and is getting taken over by raspberries. I think the color variation must be normal. I'm only trying to save seed from the purple ones.
