It was last winter - feb/march. 

He comes to montana a couple of times a year.  He's rather brilliant - so it is always good to hear him speak.

He'll be presenting at the northwest permaculture convergence in a few weeks.  I think there might be a bus going to the convergence from missoula for those that are interested.
