well, you're never too old to learn! One of my neighbors (25 years younger) who is just beginning to grow edibles educated me. The "weed" sorrel was growing near the herbs I planted In my yard. I thought it was a clover. I will be eating this lemony tasting treat now instead of banishing it. Who knows what else I could learn with this book!

Sorrel soup is my family favorite! Unfortunately, I can no longer have it as sorrel is super high in oxalates, which are predecessors to uric acid, which aggravate gout.
