Hi All,

My name is Tom Fisher. Starting project in the Okanogan Highlands. 20 acres of overgrazed, neglected, sagebrush and tough grasses covered land. I will be transforming it, into a homestead example, of things possible. I have learned a lot, but have not done much, in the way of permaculture, but KNOW it will work.

Elevation: 2200-2400 ft, on Palmer Mt, just NW of Tonasket, WA.
Precipitation: 11 - 13 inches/year, mostly from late Oct - May

Plans are to find what can and will grow in this arid landscape, as well as garden area for fresh food, and make nursery to propagate trees, shrubs, plants, etc for what I'll need on site.

Looking for interested people to start a dialog with, for imput on questions and decisions that will need to make.

Please let me know if YOU are.

Thanks,
Tom
