Hello all, I am writing this post to see if anybody visiting this forum would be interested in working on a vegetable farm in Wisconsin. I do not have the ability to offer a position, as I am only an employee/intern, this is just to gauge if there is any interest. My reason for asking is that I signed up to work through November but have since decided I would actually like to go back to college this fall as I would be quite behind in my schooling if I stayed through November. Because of that, my position will probably be available from late august through the middle of November.  So, I repeat, I am not offering a position or promising any kind of follow up. I am just seeing if anybody is interested and then if there is any interest I could show this to the farm managers and they can decide where to go from there. A little information about my position: It is paid, the rate is $7.25/hour minus room and board, and comes out to a total earning of about $3-4 an hour, depending on how many hours I work each week. The average amount of hours I work per week is 45, but that number can be higher or lower depending on the weather and what we are doing. The managers prepare meals during the week and provide ingredients on weekends. All meals prepared in the farm's kitchen are kosher. The managers have been farming for five years now and are very willing to teach so this is a great place to be for anybody interested in vegetable farming.

Moderators, if there is anything wrong with this post, please let me know and I will fix it. I am doing this to help the farmers/managers as they will be lacking quite a bit of labor without me.

And then the flying monkeys attacked. My only defense was this tiny ad:
