For each week of help, $200 will be gifted to you.  For anyone that can stay 2 weeks or more, an additional $100 dollars will be gifted to help cover travel costs.

We attended some of the best natural building workshops in Oregon in 2014, researched 1000's of hours, we are certified permaculture designers and are building full time, every day.  

In the evenings, there will be reading material or permaculture design course videos on natural building, construction and permaculture.

The best way to learn is to get your hands dirty! We are building a hybrid taking the best of conventional stud framing and minimal concrete masonry and adding in natural building aspects such as cob, straw bale, earth plasters and floors, roundwood, rocket mass heaters, passive solar design, recycled materials, local materials, dry stacked stone, lime plasters with pozzolans, rain water collection using simple filters and gravity, etc.

Food is included.  Tell us what you would like to eat and we will cook it for you.

Shelter and camping is available.

Free pickup from nearby bus station or airport

We are looking for volunteers to help install a few windows, window casings, hand hewn wood siding and cedar shingle siding as a rainscreen, dry stacked stone, beautiful live edge cedar slap soffit boards and a small amount of lime stucco with pozzolans, small amount of lime stabilized earth plaster.
