Geoff Lawton speaks about using pinto peanut (Arachis pintoi) as a cover crop in some of his videos. Does anyone know where I can buy (or trade for) seeds for this plant? It seems like it would be good for my needs and I would like to try it.
Hi Angela,
I've been trying to find useful information for you. You may have found some of these in your own quest. One company name that comes up in many Google searches is Hancock's, but the cost is about $40(ish) per pound.
There are several threads here at Permies talking about pinto peanuts. And, there is an interesting thread here at permaculturenews.org that may be worth looking at.
