biceps tendonitis in right shoulder

I have reoccurring biceps tendonitis in my rt shoulder (and i'm right handed).  will i be able to scythe? Robin S

In my experience the left shoulder is the one most prone towards strain in use, but not having experience with your condition I can't offer much more advice than that. When done right scything is a very low-strain activity and once you have the hang of the motions you can make the conscious choice to engage or disengage different muscle groups from the motion of the stroke.

Decades of martial arts and general abuse have left me with some pretty substantial limitations in my shoulders. Using my scythe is almost entirely leg and torso work, my arms do almost nothing in the process.
