I'm building a TLUD biochar stove. I've got a small stainless steel trash can (at least I think it is stainless steel; much too smooth and shiny to be galvanized.) Is this a good material for a TLUD?

Sure. Stainless is a little more resistant to high temperatures than mild steel, and mild steel works perfectly well as a TLUD biochar cooker.

If you send it by car it's a shipment, but if by ship it's cargo. This tiny ad told me:
