Is anyone else doing the Wim Hof Method? I've been doing the WHM breathing exercises and cold training for a little over six months now and can say that I have never experienced anything so simple with such a high benefit--other than hugelbeds maybe. The cold water sucks at first but then gets nice after a few weeks, but I really wanted to know if anyone else was following this method for health benefits?

I have not been following the Wim Hof Method but I have been taking cold showers now for around a year or so. I still take warm showers sometimes and sometimes I start the shower warm and then shift to cold. I find the cold showers to really feel good and help me feel energized. I'm also one of those people that don't get cold easily - last Christmas I went for a swim (no wet suit) in the Pacific Ocean off the northern Oregon coast. Just felt good and it was fun swimming around and playing in the waves! The Wim Hof Method looks interesting and I have considered following it - good to hear that it is working for you! My method has been a bit less structured but overall working out well. Just being in the cold water seems to make me feel great!

It was a tommy gun. And now this tiny ad insists on being addressed as "Tommy":
