Nope, it's a quote by sci-fi author Robert Heinlein.  I should edit my signature to include the citation.  I think the specific quote is from "Time Enough for Love"

I like it. Needs to include caring for babies but as my friend Nancy says, anyone who can't do that will be unable to die gallantly anyhow  .

Caring for babies is not that difficult...
