Fruiting Mulberry tree

Seeking suggestions on types of Mulberry trees that grow well in desert conditions of Joshua Tree.

There is one called the black Persian that might work.   Check out the list of mulberries in the first article.  I know there are more than 100 species so one of them should work if there is some biodiversity and or companion planting.  Good luck.  Maybe you could plant an acacia and companion plant a mulberry with some low bushes...or maybe an olive and some mulberry.  I planted 3 varieties of fruiting olive in N. Phoenix and they did really well.  The Spanish olive Arbequina did really well.
