Going to give this a try, because who knows?
35 year old male, St. Petersburg, FL. 6'5" and physically active. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, cycling, and running. I am happy to share photos privately.
I would describe myself as a philosopher, Thoreauvian, progressive Christian, and contemplative. I am seeking a spiritually conscious, kind, and compassionate woman interested in creating a unique and extraordinary life together. You should live in the United States, and preferably nearby to me, but I would consider getting to know someone across a reasonable distance. Age range ~25-40.
I have been interested in homesteading, permaculture, natural building, and simple living for the past 15 years. My goal has always been to build a small self-sufficient cabin, earthbag, or cob house and grow at least a portion of my own food supply. I have yet to put many foundations under my castles in the air, but I am ready to make progress on my dreams. I already own land in east Tennessee, but I am considering settling down in my home state of Florida to stay closer to family. My plans are not set in stone, so we'll see.
As mentioned before, I am a progressive Christian, but I appreciate all religious traditions. You don't have to share my exact beliefs, but it would be nice if you like Jesus and share a desire to make the world a better place for all living creatures. Most important to me are character, kindness, and compassion. No bitterness or negativity please!
Personality-wise, I am kind of an awkward introvert who has lived a solitary life so far, and I am happy to continue doing so. However, I don't want to close the door on a great relationship. So if you'd like to chat, send me a message and we'll go from there.
