I'm looking to insulate a static caravan - our temporary home untill we build our house. We were thinking about using some kind of insulatation and then cladding - but I am now considering using cork boards as both insulation and cladding...anyone tried this? Any thoughts?

I would be concerned about how the cork board would handle weather which will have a lot to do with longevity of the material.

Cork is not a very good insulation since it tends to be rather dense when made into boards (the ones I've seen appear to be pretty dense because of the glues I think).
