noble fir for green build?

hey folks

hope alls well with ye

i can get my hands on noble fir and am wondering if they would be ok to use to build a round pole timber frame for a work shop?

any ideas or advise would be great thanks

        Noble fir has one of the highest strength to weight ratios of any wood and is therefore an exceptional wood for your purpose. It has been used in aircraft manufacturer and for roof trusses due to this quality. In some areas it is known as Larch. The only negative I can think of is poor rot resistance so you would need to treat any poles which are being embedded in dirt, gravel or concrete and take necessary steps to prevent moisture wicking.
