Could be a toad. I'm going along by what my partner told me. I think he can't tell the difference between frogs and toads. But I seem to have seen something somewhere about some species of frog producing toxic stuff, especially in South America. My chicken's latest droppings are green. I wonder if that means anything.
Cane toads are an invasive species from So. America. The native animals there are no longer effected by their toxins but as they enter new environments they are creating a lot of problems for domestic and native species.
Many kinds of wildlife in Australia has been descimated by these things. Read up and feel free to collect and kill any and all of them. I understand they make a great fertilizer.
