We have just started our second day of a dry stone walling course and thought you might like some pics
We charged a nominal fee, limited numbers so as not to overwhelm the tutor, the wall or my catering abilities and the result has been better than expected. People have really enjoyed themselves, learned the basics of a valuable skill and we have a new wall. On chatting to our students we all feel that time is running out for hand crafts so we are thinking of getting together to run other courses. One of our ladies is a basket maker and another keeps sheep and hand shears, apart from our combined gardening skills. We are also thinking about seed swaps.
So in short, if you have ANY skill, advertise and educate and make new, like-minded friends along the way.
