We're finishing a 300 sq ft kitchen/bath space with strawbale walls and are looking for heating options. I am leaning towards a new woodstove for efficiency and emissions but would love the ability to cook on top and an
oven.
- has anyone built a cob structure around a woodstove to capture heat with a dome/cob oven on top?
- how much heat can I expect this to capture? I am trying to size the stove so I can reasonably cook on top but not overheat the space. What size firebox
should I be looking for?
here are the stoves that are top contenders:
- Quadrafire 2100 1.46 cu ft firebox
