I'm sorry to post this and I'm sure it's not in the right place or the right thing to do, but I've emailed and not heard anything back. Last I heard the DVDs were supposed to come out last October. I received a survey from kickstarter in November and I filled it out (yes, correct address and everything). I have never heard anything else and I still don't have the 4 DVD set that I sponsored with 60.00 4DVD: 4-DVD set as physical DVDs + everything in GLORY. Can someone help me or bring it to the attention of someone who can? I did try to search about this but didn't find any info related. Thank you. If an admin gets this, then you should have my email and can contact me directly.

Human feces is not "really hazardous stuff". There are certain things to be careful of like anything in life. I've composted my family's "waste" and used on our garden multiple times following the method in Humanure, written by Joseph Jenkins. When properly composted there is no problem. I've even done it in the suburbs and it works great. It fits into permaculture's value/ethics system perfectly. I've also visited a dairy farm in VT that powered the farm and 3 other households using farm produced methane. They were not compressing it for car use though. I just wanted to contribute some more positive info about composting human feces as it is a valuable resource and should be treated as such, bearing in mind the correct methods of composting and handling.

New here and found the site looking for info on RMH. I happened to catch the post about SPIN and thought I'd give my 2 cents. I own the SPIN business plan and have read much about it. It is 50k GROSS on 1/2 acre. It took the creator of the "system" 3 years to get to that point and you need at least one other person and long hours. They grow mainly high value crops like scallions and baby greens. It depends on your locale what you will make and your desire to succeed. I participate on the SPIN forum occasionally and have seen multiple mentions from people who gross more than 50k per 1/2 acre in their areas. Strong markets are the key or restaurant supply or CSA. I agree with your other posters that it's obviously not permaculture but it's a great way to get more agriculture produced locally. I would be working on this business for myself if I could only find a partner in my area.
