Is this sort of a geese tractor?

Interesting. I just started to befriend the idea of implementing ducks as a central remedial buffer and support element/function on our own little half acre plot in continental Croatia when this dailyshous popped up. 💚

Starting with the best wishes for all of you, I'd like to emphasize the importance of sterilisation of tools, pots, growing medium when you start seeds, amend soil, a.s.o.
I'm "cooking" the ingredients in a pot at 80-120°c in the oven for about 30min to minimise the levels of pathogens, fungi, etc. I'd like to think that this is my small scale solution, time intensive but cost effective in the long run.
You want to make sure to bring "the good guys" back in, aka EM, worm juice and the likes.
If on a budget with money, you'll have to put in the work and time.
I recently finished my first PDC with "glo". I was in the 2021 Cohort. I've gotten a lot of valuable data in an out and I could gain access through the installed "people care" options and early bird rates. The course itself is technically on a stringent quality level content and design wise. Highly complex but functionally organized. Self paced up to a degree through "catch up weeks". All in all with all the extensions and an extra year time for the fde I spent about 2.5 years on this "Lawton -Verse".
It is definitely not cheap at all and you have to buy yourself in on some aftercourse features like lifetime access or the one year fde-extension, which was a bit off-putting to be frank.
BUT it was also well worth the money. With that investment one is also less likely to drop out for whatever reasons and I have to say the student-care team are really supportive in many ways and doing their best to make it a worthwhile and feasible experience.
In that light I think it's incomparable with a lot of recordings of life pdc's that are out there as "online pdc" who have their own right of existence, and are absolutely necessary as a level of permaculture education. I took the udemy course which is powered by tagari and is a recording of an in person PDC with Bill Mollison and a much younger Geoff Lawton at a very reasonable rate and discounted purchase of the Manual. This course doesn't include a fde process and could be seen more like a really good netflix series one should have seen at least once in a lifetime.
Another in depth online course at a more affordable rate is Matt Powers "Permaculture student online". Here you are focused on a more scientific approach, going deep into soil science. Also Matt is a teacher by education and nature and wonderfully crazy, personally approachable beautiful person, who makes appetite for "living the life of permaculture"
I'm involved in all of it since I started actively studying PC. Permaculture pressure tanking. 💚

I like to have them cut, blanched and/or sauteed, and then scrambled with a lot of eggs for breakfast. Some salt pepper and I'm set for the day.
