Hi we are Piper, Froukje and Rowin a diverse skilled family that enjoys being together in all phases of our lives. We are flexible, hard working and easy to get along with. We are back to nature, grow your own food and treat nature with respect type of people.
Piper grew up in the southern Catskills hunting, fishing and being outdoors. His professional life has taken him into the hospitality industry as a chef. Here he excelled in ensuring guest satisfaction, by paying particular close attention to detail, while keeping an eye on everything going on. He has a very focused and strong work ethic and likes to get things done in a timely and efficient manner. For the past eight years he has been caretaking for a small intentional community as a chef, gardener, some livestock care, property caretaker, painting, carpentry and many other tasks that was asked of him, all while building a strong personal relationship with all the members of the community as well as any visitors and other employees. He is committed to taking care of people around him and he likes to take on challenges brought before with the opportunity to excel in guest satisfaction.
Froukje is a Dutch immigrant raised in a urban lifestyle, with a professional career trained to be of service on the interface between software program and the user. After meeting Piper five years ago she has stepped into a more natural lifestyle, which has done her quiet well. An ever-learning student of life she is committed to people relationships and how it affects each other and life. She loves working and playing outdoors as she tends to combine the two. She has great organizational skills and is focused on learning how she can better her life and the people around her. She has a keen ability to transform theory into everyday practical work. She is outstanding in taking direction as well as giving it. She was very proficient in the orchard with pruning, training and grafting as well as applying organic sprays harvesting and preserving. Her garden work was equally strong in seed starting, transplanting, seed save and harvesting. She pays attention to the health of the plants and researches on how to treat any problems. She has experience in raising laying hens. She also compliments Piper to the degree that there is not an obstacle that cannot be over come.
Rowin was born to us October 2015 in a natural setting, as that is how we intend to raise him along with a nutrient dense diet and a holistic life style. We hope he acquires the skills to live a long healthy live. He his very outgoing, happy and friendly boy. He to enjoys the outdoors, as he has been picking mushrooms, and socializing with people. He has good loving parents that are committed to each other and sharing the world with him.
