Appreciate the inputs. I'm sticking with the footer without the rocks. What's being said here seems right, that the rocks are unessessary and won't really add anything good, only complications. I always get good info here, ty.

I'm building a wallipini and I'm not concerned about code here as much as what works. I have packed tires around the rim of the underground greenhouse hole and my plan is to pour a bond beam or a footer on top of the tires.. I have 2x8 lumber for the forms and for the sil plate. I would rather line up heavy ~20lb stones as my concrete forms and pour with the two rows of stones. Hopefully with the concrete sticking to the stone but not blowing out either.

I haven't found info on this topic so maybe it's not a thing. Is this a bad idea?

I have nine months left on a three year land contract with no clause for penalties if I pay off early. It's with a private seller. I want to sell before I'm finished paying off, is this a complicated process or pretty straightforward?

I'm also considering clear corrugated greenhouse panels. Recycled materials gets snatched up around here, we will see if there's any patio glass available next Spring. Maybe clerestory windows could get light past tall plants. I agree though, I should try to get recycled windows.

I live across from earthship community but it still costs to gain knowledge from there, so I pick up what I can.

I was watching a tour video of the Phoenix Earthship. I believe it was mentioned that earthships are ideal with around 50% greenhouse space of floor plan but they do not try to sell them like that because it's too unconventional. Also the Phoenix has large plants obstructing back room thermal mass of it's light(?).

I want to mimic this style if possible but small. Thinking of just using recycled materials like garbage for the south. How possible is an all bottle or nearly all glass bottle wall? I have seen the plastic bottles and would consider it but I would rather use glass. It also seems like a lot of glue expense.

Sounds good. I might go with bale wire. I'm on an extreme budget. I have to pay off land before I'm free to buy tools. Seems like I should adhere that cob to the stone foundation. I bet it's top-heavy so maybe going wide at bottom and narrow at top

Maybe someone can tell me if my concept works.
I get pallets and used 2x4s often. I would like to do cement or gravel post holes, set the pallet over the hole and stand it up. Linseed oil a 2x4, thread it through pallet and set it into post hole then cover the fence with cob. Put rocks at base to prevent wicking. Nail rain cover to top of pallet fence

I'm looking for plans that I can adjust to my site. Earthship Biotecture sells plans for thousands of dollars. This started as a earthbag thread but I think packing tires will suit my site best and its proven in this climate. I might not need a premade floor plan anyway. I'll go scour the earthship forum. Thanks for the guidance.
