Made a new bed over the holidays, with my partner. We used a string to do the measurements, and reused the slats from the old bed
The Internet tells me that a cup is a bit under 250ml so this approx 600ml of rice should be good right?

I made two different padding styles because I'm not sure what will work for me yet. I used cotton and linen thread, linen stash fabric. In one pad, torn apart organic cotton pads as padding and in the other four layers of linen.

Pulled everything out of the fridge,
Compostables went out to the lazy compost pile,
Recyclables were rinsed out and put to the recycling bin
Non recyclables went in the bin
Took out all of the shelves and drawers and washed them up in the sink
Turned of the fridge so the back would defrost
Toweled out liquid from the bottom of the fridge
Washed fridge with soap and warm water and dried it back off
Reassembled it, put all the food that was still good back (hooray for pickles) and turned the fridge back on

For this project I used a cotton tea towel that was thining rapidly, some cotton embroidery floss and some linen thread (to stitch down the edges) both from my thread stash. I tried a couple of styles of decorative running stitches in different zones of the cloth

I pick a theme for each garment I own and use embroidery in that theme to hide stains and mends. This skirts theme is leaves
