Pheasants and a pyr, I love it!  Unfortunately I don't have anything online.  I have tried so many times but it is just too much to add on to everything else.  Have you got something I can check out?

Hi everyone,
Our group of 6 made of family and friends is on the road with our homestead.  We are heading southeast for the winter, and would like to offer work or money in exchange for a place to stop for a few months.  Ideally we would get back on the road before July.  We are employed and self sufficient, and can offer either $400 a month for dry docking, or $475 with hookups.  Alternatively, we could offer 20 hours of labor per week if you have a project you'd like help with or just want some helping hands with winter and spring chores.
As we are traveling with our homestead, that of course means animals.  We have 5 mini lamancha milk goats and their two Pyrenees/lab mix guardians.  We have fencing for them that is pretty easy to set up and take down with each stop.  We also have 3 pugs who spend most of their time inside, and two cats who pretty much get their way because they're spoiled.
Between the 6 of us, we can get a bunch done, and bang out that 20 hours combined in one day a week so we can work our jobs the rest of the week.
We can feed ourselves, and have memberships at a gym for showering, so our water usage is minimal.  Our goal is to find a way to live as inexpensively as possible, save up, and purchase land with some like minded people, then be done with the system.  We collectively have varied skills...gardening and food preservation, baking, foraging, carpentry,  mechanics, herbal medicine and sound therapy.  We have old school interests such as wool work and basket weaving, so if you are home schooling and want your kids to learn some new survival skills, we can help teach!
We do qigong in the mornings...a marvelous way to start a physically challenging work day, and great for the soul as well.
We can provide pics, videos, references and ID for background checks, so if you or someone you know would like to host us for a few months, please reach out with any questions.  Thank you all so much, may you all be blessed with clean air and water 🙌

Hi Sophie!  I've been thinking about you!  Thanks so much for saying this, I felt the same about you so have definitely been keeping you in mind should the right people and place present themselves.
Recently joined another fb page you might wanna consider, I believe it's called intentional communities.
Also, if you wanna Email me, I was offered an interesting opportunity that I think I might pass on, but the woman I spoke to is very sweet and needs someone who won't take advantage of her.  It may not be for you either, but it might be worth checking out, I'll tell you about it and the reason I'm going to pass, and share your info with her if you wanna chat.  Hope your summer is going well
Hi Paul, I'd absolutely like to talk.  I'd be happy to communicate here if it makes you comfortable, or I can share my email since permies has zero privacy, and maybe we can arrange for a video chat at some point.

I'll be looking forward to hearing back.  Feel free to ask any questions that haven't been answered in my post, I am an open book!
PS, I have a very close friend who also rescues horses and donkeys as well from the BLM!
My partner and I are looking for community, or maybe a homesteader who would like some extra hands to help.  We've been off grid for almost 3 years, and have rented an acre at the back of an old 30 acre farm to build a little homestead on while we look for the right community of people to join.  We'd ideally like to be in the mountains, and have found that we really like Tennessee,  although we're open to other ideas.  We've recently acquired a small family of first generation mini lamanchas for goat milk, cheese, butter and yogurt.  They will be ready to kid in the spring, so we're hoping to make a connection before that.  We're self sufficient and come prepared.  When we find our ideal spot, we'll get chickens and bees to add to the party.  We are 100% not freeloaders and want to contribute to a healthy safe tight knit group.  I love gardening, foraging, wool spinning, worm raising, food preservation, reading and board games.  I study herbal medicine, sound therapy, yoga and qigong.  I'm writing a book to be published this year.  We want to learn cob/adobe building and my guy is interested in carpentry and milling.  Anyone looking for land partners, help, etc?
Hi everyone, I've started a homesteading project in Eastern TN with the goal of collecting a small dowry of farm animals and then looking for someone in the mountains with land who wants a little homestead community or even just help.
It's been challenging to say the least, keeping up with tiktok documentation to show what we have and are capable of.  I do most of the work on my own while my partner works a job to keep bills paid.  I've come to decide that it might be in my best interest to invite someone else in on this adventure, or at least have a place to camp out for a while and get some hands on experience.
The challenge here is that I've quite primitive.  Composting waste, bedroom in a tent, storage and kitchen in rv and trailer.  I'm trying to dig a well by hand...that's awesome.  I have two dogs, two cats and three sheep so far.  Chickens are coming as soon as I finish building their housing, which I would love help with.
I'm studying natural medicine as well as sound therapy, and am very fond of my privacy and the sounds of nature, and music created by bowls, flutes and gongs, so please no gas powered stuff running all day, we can work out times for it, thats no problem, I do have some battery powered tools so im not a crazy person, lol, just not every day...communication is all.  Anyone interested?
Also, anyone in the mountains looking for help with life's chores in exchange for an acre that we could settle on?
Anyone who wants to check out my tiktok page please do a search for epiphaniesandteachings
Thanks!!!
*ABOUT US
*THE PLAN
*THE GOAL
*OPTIONS FOR OTHERS

ABOUT US:  2020 we started unloading everything unnecessary and stocking up on things we could use off grid, bought a gold claim in the mountains. People who'd been interested in joining us came to realize we were serious, and confessed they weren't ready, so we went alone.  Chemical sprays and fires became too hard to live with, so we sold the claim and reallocated those funds into a move to Tennessee.  We've been in TN since mid April 2024...2 months, rented an acre of land for a year and are starting over.

THE PLAN:  Start a small homestead with a goal to get sheep, chickens and bees.  Garden is started, well being dug, fences up and pens almost done.  Sheep this week, chickens next. Bees will be later.

THE GOAL: Document progress, then find or assist in building a small community on larger land in the mountains.  A few people sharing the work makes the days much easier. We'll get started and then bring our dowry with us to be with other people who may want this life and have the land, but need the resources that we can contribute.

OPTIONS FOR OTHERS: If you want this life and are serious about it, maybe we can work together.  Whether it be people combining resources to purchase land, someone who already has land and would like to be self sustaining but needs help, or a community that is already flourishing but is open to having a couple more helpful hands and animals...we'd like to talk to anyone who is willing to live in harmony with nature to the best of our ability.

We are trying to keep progress documented on TikTok for anyone who would care to follow us to make a more informed decision about compatibility.  Obviously I can't record everything, but I'm doing my best to keep up

Hi Nathan, I’ve tried to go to your website but am only getting the shangri La restaurant.  My boyfriend and I are living off grid in Oregon right now and looking for an option with a couple more people, possibly out of this state, trying to find a place with cleaner air and water.  Please email me, maybe we can chat for a minute!
