Hello there,

we're a family of four looking to network and interview other potential members as we have 40 acres with 40 goats and water rights in Southern Colorado and want to collaborate with an additional family who would like to create their own Homestead at the top of our land.

With a memorandum of understanding or other binding document  ( the Mondragon cooperative, Habitat for Humanity or Polyface farms type of agreement)  The right family or group could invest with confidence and could build something that can be passed down... Irrevocable trust and opportunity to join other Living men and women with their sons and daughters.

We are looking for synergistic cooperation with core values such as Permaculture that includes traditional ecological values found in the seventh Generation Philosophy.        Check our website out and notice that we are hard-working folks... We will want to partner with other folks who share this value .....profit sharing opportunities as our business is successful at this time.

Our website Is mostly up to date and shows we are multi-talented and have disciplines to share as well as money making opportunities.
Crestone, CO. 81131

Thanks for your response and questions... at your convenience,

Nathan and family

Hi Nathan, I’ve tried to go to your website but am only getting the shangri La restaurant.  My boyfriend and I are living off grid in Oregon right now and looking for an option with a couple more people, possibly out of this state, trying to find a place with cleaner air and water.  Please email me, maybe we can chat for a minute!

Hi Nathan, I checked out the website and it looks like some neat stuff!

We are located in Palmer Lake currently and my family and I have an off-grid, movable "tiny" house in progress that we are looking for a location to relocate to (preferably in state). My wife and I have ventured into several homesteading and gardening pursuits and most of my reading recently has been in the permaculture area (doing active steps as I can to practice and wanting to pursue deeper education there). I am also searching for a steadier income stream for the time being (been a self-employed sub contractor (handyman stuff) for a few years) and trying to figure out a good option for that.

I would be interested to chat at least and learn more about what you all are looking for there.

Blessings in this new year!

Hello Nathan, are you specifically looking for other families, or are singles an option? Do you take visitors, that can maybe stay a bit, and everyone can feel out each other as to whether it could be a positive match?

Hi Nathan and family.

My name is Katie and I am mama of a family of five. My husband and I bought property in south western Virginia last year and have been starting to establish an off-grid homestead there. I have recently been thinking about the benefits of intentionally choosing your neighbors because of the potential synergy when neighbors share values and work cooperatively (versus almost no neighborly relationships where we are in Virginia).

Your work in Crestone looks varied and very interesting.

My husband is a builder by trade. I'd love to speak with you about the potential of establishing a homestead near your family in Southern Colorado. We were just out in Montana for Christmas, and both truly appreciate the West.

Best,
Katie and family
