Try white clover, it will get thick enough to out compete the grass. It’s also a nitrogen fixer.

I would plot out where you want to plant your fruit trees first, then layer the garden around them. You need room to harvest when they get mature.

The US made rainbows last a long time. They were made to last because the original designer didn’t like seeing broken flip flops all over the beach.

We use Diatomaceous earth with good results for centipedes. Here they are thick and it helps a lot.

Use more sand in the mix and try to keep them out of the rain.

Remember that that’s a great spot for 2 legged squirrels to help themselves so don’t plant anything that you don’t mind sharing.

Trash happens, you definitely need to be careful about it, but it doesn’t need to be a deal breaker.  It’s all a calculated decision.

Chaya is delicious, grows fast once established.
Katuk tastes like peas.
Both easy to grow where it’s frost free.
