Looking good, they don’t need high elevation to produce, high elevation tropics make the flavor better. The weather in Kona Hi makes low acid coffee, and further south in ka’u hi makes it have a more pronounced “funky” flavor. Temperature and the soil make a huge difference in the flavor. The ripe fruit around the bean tastes like sweep peppers so that’s something to look forward to when it ripens.

I have a few coffee trees at 4000’ in the ka’u district of Hawaii but they don’t produce much fruit. The previous owner planted them and they are super tall and skinny and need some attention. Hopefully will a little tlc they can give me a pot of coffee a year lol.

I catch water, we have a 5000g tank. The water runs off the roof to a gutter and into the tank. The tank has a cover that acts as a filter.

I would every day if I could but my work schedule doesn’t allow for it. A half hour bro is a great thing.

My constant struggle in all of my gardening time has been rosemary, we have tried seeds, cuttings store bought plants, plants grown by friends everything, they always die. I don’t have any trouble with anything else I have tried but rosemary is my nemesis lol. We will eventually find some that will grow but it’s been years of trying.

I do, we do all our cooking outside. It gets too hot to cook inside. I like it because we don’t stink up the house with whatever we’re making.

Yes, I make fruit sauces, usually when I don’t cook the jam long enough lol.
2/3c fruit pulp to 1/2c sugar works well with everything I have tried (guava, plum, mango, lychee, Surinam cherries ext)

Mine is a white mulberry it’s for blood sugar and heart health. I don’t know if different varieties are better than others.
