Do you make a sauce for Pancakes or Waffles?

I recently saw suggestions for a caramel apple sauce with chunks of apples and a Pineapple Cream Sauce.

The Pineapple Cream Sauce was to go with Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes.

For me, a simple sauce would be a Honey Butter.

Yes, I make fruit sauces, usually when I don’t cook the jam long enough lol.
2/3c fruit pulp to 1/2c sugar works well with everything I have tried (guava, plum, mango, lychee, Surinam cherries ext)
