I tried to root some blueberry cuttings under Intermittent misting. I took the cuttings around the first of August. I didn't get any to root. I had them misting for 20 seconds every 10 minutes from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM. When I checked the cuttings yesterday none had formed calisuses and the stems were brown in the part that was in the sand and perlite mix. The leaves were still green although some fell of has I dug them out to check. I was wondering what times you did yours? Is there a time when it is too late to start? Have you ever tried to root hard wood cuttings even. I guess at this point I will try again in the Spring. Any help appreciated.
I want to add that my grapevine cuttings, GoJi berry, and Some of the Thornless Blackberries did root with this method. They were taken at the same time. I just don't know why the blueberries didn't root.
