Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm is proud to host our third annual Cob Sculpting Workshop focused on Women's Empowerment!!  Join us as we celebrate our liberation together and learn how to build our own dwelling, fashioned from Cob, a mix of clay, straw and sand.

We will be offering our Cob Sculpting Basics Course in this 3-day intensive workshop.

See our Website for more information:  https://www.goldenrocksfarm.com/wew-description

During this course we will be completing one room, and outdoor living space in Grandmas Shoe House, a sweet little meditation space and childrens' play area shaped like a shoe!  While we will cover most of the basics for building a small sculpted cob structure, our hands-on work will be centered on learning to make and apply lime plasters, in addition to learning about and installing an earthen floor.  We will be playing with lime paints as well, and potentially creating "Fresco" style artwork: permanent paintings on the exterior and interior walls of this beautiful work of art! The weekend will be filled a women's empowerment agenda, including Yoga, Meditation, Dreaming, Ceremony, Music and lots of content on HOW to build a small sculpted cob structure.

ABOUT THE FARM: Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm was founded in 2010 and specializes in teaching earthen building concepts, and producing fresh herbs, herbal tea blends and seasonal organic produce using poly-cropping, companion planting and bio-intensive farming practices. Through the permaculture lens, concepts of Earth Care; People Care; and Fair Share are played out in the gardens and in the community that we serve.

Cost for the full 3-day workshop starts at $275 and includes organic lunches daily from our gardens, and onsite camping at beautiful Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm located in Middletown, Lake County, CA.  Some "glamping" sites are available for an additional fee.  We are deliciously close to Harbin Hot Springs, and may book a group appointment, depending on interest.
