Any fine men on Vancouver Island???

50-something, independent, humourous divorced lady who is more comfortable working outdoors than the nightlife.  Would love to meet a similar-aged man who enjoys the simple and quieter things in life, working the ground and help with growing my soon-to-be homestead.  I live on my 5 acres on Southern Vancouver Island, with wonderful parks, trails, close to the ocean and less than half an hour from great surfing.  

Dealbreakers are smokers, more than casual social drinkers and no to any type of drug.  I'm not a prude, I just find that I don't need any type of stimulant to make me happy.

I am not from the island or Canada either.  Some say I have a Canadianish accent.  That is from growing up in Wisconsin and going to school in upper Michigan.  Also lived in Vermont for 16 years.  I am 57 and currently on 10 acres outside of Houston.  I am willing to live in paradise if your interested and the government allows.  Let me know if your interested and I will share all.

Hi Jeff - Americans can stay up in Canada for 6 months out of the year.  To live permanently you'd have to be married to a Canadian and go through the immigration process.  Guess I'm looking for a Canadian man.

Hey Kelly. I'm here in southern VI and in my mid 40's. I dont know that I am looking for anything or anyone right now (or in the future to be frank), but I am always keen to connect with solid people who arent wackjobs or out to lunch - well, according to me anyway.

I too have no time for smoking or drug taking, and take a similar stance on imbibing and stimulants nonsense.
