I replied to your email a couple days ago about some concerns you had about audiobooks. A permies.com volunteer replied back and said I should probably mention something here. Just as a rabbit trail,. my son is a narrator for Audiobooks. (ACX/Amazon) and they take a LOT of time to read/record/correct/edit and get it right. There's no way someone could blow this out in three days. A lot of "garbage" has to get filtered and digitally edited out. He's right in the middle of narrating his 4th book but if you guys are serious about doing audiobooks in the future,..
I might be able to get some samples of his narrative style for you to listen to. I don't think this would trip up non-compete agreements and all that.

I totally agree that it is not a quick job, even though it might seem like it to the average person.
We still have quite a bit of work to do before we get into the meat of audiobook stuff. First we have to finish editing the manuscript. If your son would like to be considered for the audiobook, he can send me a Purple Mooseage here on permies and I will process it along with all of the other (surprisingly numerous!) offers to do the audiobook when the time comes.
