My parents are selling my childhood home in Indiana and I'd love it if a permie purchased it. It's 10 acres, mostly wooded, with walking trails in the woods, a large fishing pond to fish and kayak in, and a creek with a walking bridge. Lots of room for a garden and animals. The house itself is a bit of a fixer upper (3bd/1ba). This kind of property is really rare in the Indianapolis area. I've daydreamed for most of my life about taking it over once my parents passed and homesteading there, but I'm just not in a time or place in my life to do it, unfortunately.
It's about a 30 minute drive to Indy, which makes for a decent commute (my parents have been doing it for years), a 15 minute drive to the Whitestown/Zionsville area, and ten minutes to Lebanon.
The property is in preview mode now and will be listed for sale Thursday, June 6.
