If you are looking at Fukuoka's"The Natural Way of Farming", save your money! They are offering used copies from $40-$500.
Since it is out of print, Australian copyright laws permit libraries to offer digital copies.
It is legally available for free here:

"Seed to Seed" was put out by Seed Savers Exchange (SSE), and is very informative in the process of seed saving of annual veggies. I don't agree with the way Suzanne Ashworth is now steering SSE, but the book belongs on the shelf of anybody growing open pollinated annual vegetables.

Have you read Sepp's book (the link I posted)? I've read a review it's pretty general, but thorough at the same time.

I just finished reading Sepp's book. I checked it out of the public library, and liked it so much I bought a copy from my local independent bookstore. I recommend it highly. It's packed with practical information that applies to a wide variety of circumstances, and stages of design.

I also treated myself to The Reference Manual of Woody Plant Propagation, from Powell's Books in Portland. Powell's has one used copy left. This is a remarkable book that I read daily. Speaking for myself and my own situation, I'm going to need all the propagation skills I can learn to make my little five acres of paradise into a successful permaculture design.

You're welcome. I think the Soil&Health library should be in every permaculturuist's Bookmarks.
They personify the meaning of the www: The free spread of knowledge.

Much of the wealth of agriculture was captured before the "age of chemistry" (and/or the industrial revolution). Some of those writings can be found at used bookstores, or eBay (usually $100 or more), but they have compiled, and shared many of those treasures.

I am a lifetime (contributing) member of the library, and have actually contributed material to them.
I encourage others to do so as well, if possible.
