Wow, you’re Permaculture class starts in a few days. I was born and raised in Kenya. My Mum was born in Uganda. I live in Washington now but went back and did a Permaculture design course in Nairobi. Dee Raymer was one of the teachers. She helped introduce constructed wetlands to Kenya to filter wastewater naturally .  And she updated the classic book on Gardening in East Africa. Unfortunately she passed away.
I’ve been wondering about getting involved in a Permaculture project when I go back again. But I don’t have any contacts yet. I was very inspired by the Bamburi quarry project at the Kenya coast and have searched for a quarry to heal using Permaculture but have not found one yet.
Do please update us on your class and projects. Thanks
