Many moons ago, I read about a fellow who was buying bred sows and turning them into a swampy area to raise their litter. He sold everything each fall and started over in the spring. Seems as if he was in Missouri. The fellow had a national reputation for promoting natural farming practices rather than chemical based. Maybe his farm was called Shangri La?
